The Tampa, Florida native Trivecta is an anomaly. Having been producing for over 10 years, it was not until a chance encounter with Monstercat veteran Varien, that his musical journey really began to take flight. Trivecta doesn’t have a particular sound or musical direction. Instead his focus is to create music that is ambiguous in its nature; with themes enshrouded in mystery, nostalgia, and fantasy. For Trivecta, music has always been a source of therapy. Its been a way for him to escape the pressures of the external world, and channel his energy and focus. He would spend weeks at a time deconstructing songs, trying to decipher between elements of each track, and how they would make him react. This tedious task has allowed him to utilize the knowledge he’s gained and adapt it into his creations. Prior to his first release with Monstercat, Trivecta worked closely with Varien to fine tune his sound. Holding his productions to the highest standards, it took a boost from the Monstercat family to solidify his beliefs that it was time to take the next step in his career.
