Noosa is multi instrumentalists Sky Barbarick & Matt Buszko Noosa, whom recently released their debut self titled EP, features the dynamic electro instrumentals of Matt Buszko and the sultry vocals of Sky Barbarick. The five tracks range from dark electro like “Walk on By” to the sunny pop tracks “Sail” and “Light Rays,” creating for me an immediate comparison to Lana Del Ray. Check them out on SoundCloud here.Sound Remedy has linked up with newcomers Noosa to conceive this tranquil remix of “Walk On By” that I just can’t get outta my head. Sound Remedy, originally of Chicago, has been at the music game for two years now. Child of two Juilliard School of Music alums and full time Chicago Symphony Orchestra players, this Finance graduate turned musician has music running through his veins. Influences like these can only have helped SR perfect his harmonic style, and Sky Barbarick’s vocals are the perfect addition to his renaissance driven electronic sound.
